I used digital paint techniques and other filtration effects to create this graphic representation of these wildflowers while attempting to maintain the integrity of its natural form. The background highlights the depth and richness of the floral display.

I began my photography career doing feature stories for local newspapers and magazines in Michigan. I have also done commercial studio and public relations work. But I always looked for creative imagery and image-making techniques, even while I was doing assignment work. I attended every seminar I could, and read dozens of books by creative professionals over the years. The work I am presenting here is a result of that constant search to capture and share what I see and experience and create. It is a never-ending passion.
