Artist's Description
I photographed this sunset that used to create a reflection on a still lake, a mirror image with vibrant colors stretching across the sky and water. Silhouettes of trees add depth to the serene, picturesque scene. In reality this scene was created by compositing a duplicate image and flipping it to create the illusion of the sky reflected in a lake.

I began my photography career doing feature stories for local newspapers and magazines in Michigan. I have also done commercial studio and public relations work. But I always looked for creative imagery and image-making techniques, even while I was doing assignment work. I attended every seminar I could, and read dozens of books by creative professionals over the years.
