A cloudscape projects bold rays of light into the sky at sunset in Southern California. Sunbeams radiate behind a silhouette of clouds, casting a dramatic light across the sky. The horizon is lined with the dark shapes of buildings and trees under the magnificent sunset.

I began my photography career doing feature stories for local newspapers and magazines in Michigan. I have also done commercial studio and public relations work. But I always looked for creative imagery and image-making techniques, even while I was doing assignment work. I attended every seminar I could, and read dozens of books by creative professionals over the years. The work I am presenting here is a result of that constant search to capture and share what I see and experience and create. It is a never-ending passion.
