I captured ths photo of a flock of seagulls in a lagoon in Southern California. The digital paint effect enhanced the flow of the birds as they took flight. ATheys gracefully take flight over a shimmering body of water, their wings creating dynamic movement across the scene. The reflection in the water captures vibrant colors from the landscape, adding depth and vibrancy to the composition.

I began my photography career doing feature stories for local newspapers and magazines in Michigan. I have also done commercial studio and public relations work. But I always looked for creative imagery and image-making techniques, even while I was doing assignment work. I attended every seminar I could, and read dozens of books by creative professionals over the years. The work I am presenting here is a result of that constant search to capture and share what I see and experience and create.
