Description

On the way to Big Bear Lake I saw this scene of the San Bernardino Mountains at sunset. The haze revealed the muti-layered geography. A once in a lifetime encounter that I was fortunate to capture on film. I scanned the 35 mm slide years later to make this image. The delicate gradients of color give a tranquil and serene atmosphere to the landscape.
