Took a series of photos of these Redwoods in Northern California and stitched them into this panorama. A low-angle shot captures the towering majesty of ancient redwood trees converging towards the sky. Lush green leaves intermingle with the brown and textured trunks, offering a natural cathedral-like atmosphere.
I began my photography career doing feature stories for local newspapers and magazines in Michigan. I have also done commercial studio and public relations work. But I always looked for creative imagery and image-making techniques, even while I was doing assignment work. I attended every seminar I could, and read dozens of books by creative professionals over the years. The work I am presenting here is a result of that constant search to capture and share what I see and experience and create. It is a never-ending passion.
