Saw this brilliant display of wildflowers while out on a jog. Couldn't resist returning with my camera to record the summer splash of color. A vibrant display of these red flowers fills the frame, showcasing the bright red petals and smaller, central white fstamens. Each appears lush and healthy, contributing to the dense, colorful tapestry presented in the photograph.

I began my photography career doing feature stories for local newspapers and magazines in Michigan. I have also done commercial studio and public relations work. But I always looked for creative imagery and image-making techniques, even while I was doing assignment work.
