Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Inspiration comes from observing and documenting everyday odd or interesting events. I saw a water drop on my galley countertop a few years ago. I took a picture and much later worked with it to this abstract image. No particular rationale. I just found it intriguing and pretty. I like the flowing colors and a prominent heart shape and the smooth, swirling patterns.
I began my photography career doing feature stories for local newspapers and magazines in Michigan. I have also done commercial studio and public relations work. But I always looked for creative imagery and image-making techniques, even while I was doing assignment work. I attended every seminar I could, and read dozens of books by creative professionals over the years. The work I am presenting here is a result of that constant search to capture and share what I see and experience and create. It is a never-ending passion.
