Took this picture of an abandoned truck in a ghost town near Las Vegas. I applied some gritty effects and added the eyes in the headlights to complete the otherworldly effect. The rust and decay on the vehicle give it a sense of history and neglect, suggesting it has been unused for a long time.
I began my photography career doing feature stories for local newspapers and magazines in Michigan. I have also done commercial studio and public relations work. But I always looked for creative imagery and image-making techniques, even while I was doing assignment work. I attended every seminar I could, and read dozens of books by creative professionals over the years. The work I am presenting here is a result of that constant search to capture and share what I see and experience and create. It is a never-ending passion.
