Vibrant red and purple flowers are in full bloom among lush green leaves. The petals appear smooth and waxy, with a few water droplets visible on the surface, suggesting recent rain.
After taking pictures of these tiny flowers near where I live, I then generated this abstract image from the original photograph.

I began my photography career doing feature stories for local newspapers and magazines in Michigan. I have also done commercial studio and public relations work. But I always looked for creative imagery and image-making techniques, even while I was doing assignment work.
