Artist's Description
This abstract image was created from a digitally manipulated underlying image. I use many of my original photographs of people and objects to do these unique illustrations. Vibrant hues of blue, orange, yellow, and purple blend together in an abstract composition that resembles jagged, overlapping shapes. The image conveys a sense of dynamic movement, as if the shapes are shifting or transforming before the viewer's eyes.

I began my photography career doing feature stories for local newspapers and magazines in Michigan. I have also done commercial studio and public relations work. But I always looked for creative imagery and image-making techniques, even while I was doing assignment work. I attended every seminar I could, and read dozens of books by creative professionals over the years. The work I am presenting here is a result of that constant search to capture and share what I see and experience and create. It is a never-ending passion.
