Artist's Description
This image was created using an underlying photograph to generate the abstract image. I got the idea from a conversation with a computer technician in the 80's. The current technology as provided the tools to put that knowledge from the past to use.
About William Gunn
I began my photography career doing feature stories for local newspapers and magazines in Michigan. I have also done commercial studio and public relations work. But I always looked for creative imagery and image-making techniques, even while I was doing assignment work. I attended every seminar I could, and read dozens of books by creative professionals over the years. The work I am presenting here is a result of that constant search to capture and share what I see and experience and create. My work includes standard photography, digital paintings, layered compositions and abstracts. Some of my current work is centered on generated abstracts from my original files.
